About Beuran Hendricks
BE Hendricks or Beuran Eric Hendricks is 29 years old South Africa’s left-arm fast-medium bowler and left-handed batsman. He made his international debut in a T20I match against Australia in March 2014 and plays domestic cricket for Cape Cobras and Western Province.
BE Hendricks was born on 8th June 1990 in Cape Town, Cape Province, South Africa as Beuran Eric Hendricks. He started playing domestic cricket at age 21 with Cape Cobras turning out to be their fifth-highest wicket-taker of the first-class cricket.
He started his cricket career playing domestic cricket for Cape Cobras in 2010 and gave consistent performances having a superb 2012-13 first-class season where he went for 35 wickets in just 7 matches. This brought him a chance to get his selection done in the South African A team. In 2013, he proved his gaming skills by taking 11 wickets against India A in Pretoria further getting a call from the national side for the T20I match against Australia in 2014. He played well and impressed his selectors cracking a
deal in IPL with Kings XI Punjab after a brilliant performance in the Ram Slam tournament in the 2013-14 season. With the red-ball, he has an excellent record of taking 288 wickets in 83 matches at 23.54.
He also made an appearance in the 2014 T20 World Cup in Bangladesh where he got the chance to play by missing out two games and getting in place of Morne Morkel. He played well with 4 wickets in his hands in 3 games. The T20 Global League welcomed him as the player of Bloem City Blazers in 2017 which later got canceled. He also played for Highveld Lions in 2018-19 season becoming their leading wicket-taker in CSA 4-Day Franchise Series and went for Mzansi Super League T20 tournament playing on the side of Jozi Stars in October 2018. He has made his ODI debut against Pakistan in January 2019 and also got the spot in the squad of 2019 Cricket World Cup.
He is in a marital relationship with Lisa Hendricks and is the father of one.
