About McDonalds
We are talking about the global food service retailer and the largest fast food restaurant chains in the world which got formed in 1940 and are serving more than 30,000 local restaurants with 68 million people in more than 120 countries each day. They have now expanded the business owning 80% of their restaurants across the world by franchisees.
About origin
The origin of the restaurant was started by Ray Kroc’s strong foundation laying out the commitment to keep the taste and work of the McDonald’s for years to come.
When it started in Indonesia?
It started its operation in Indonesia in 1991 with having its first store opened up in Sarinah, Jakarta going for the initial menu of burgers, McNuggets, fries, drinks and ice creams. The menu of burgers included the cheeseburgers, McChicken, Fish Fillet Burger, Big Mac and many.

What they have in menu?
Indonesia is Muslim majority country and thus to promote its business there they stick to the rule of providing food certified as halal that simply means they don’t go for pork patties or bacon.
Wherever McDonalds go they keep in mind the taste of food required by country’s people and thus provide the following items in menu;

What’s new?
They have recently launched out a menu called Nasi Uduk McD. From the name it offers the Betawi breakfast staple nasi uduk, it means steamed rice cooked in coconut milk and served with various side dishes. It was available in two packages, Nasi Uduk McD Special and Paket Nasi Uduk McD Komplit having the price starting at US$1.81.
In the end, McDonald’s Indonesia is working its best to achieve quality of its products maintaining the cleanliness and safety of food products.
