LastPass Overview
LastPass is a password manager developed by the LogMeIn. The software is used to encrypted password online. The software is available on several platforms named as Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer 11, Safari, Opera, Dolphin Browser, Android, iOS 6 and Windows Phone. The software is accessible in the English language only. The standard version of the software is available with a web interface. The web interface also includes various web browsers and apps for smartphones.
In October 2015, the company was acquired by the LogMein, Inc. The software listed in top four popular password managers with 1Password, Dashlane, and KeePass. More than 16.5 million users use the company software. The average rating of LastKey on Chrome Web Store is four stars.
The software was released on August 22, 2008. Xmarks acquired the company on December 2, 2010. On October 9, 2015, the company launched a new logo. The company released a family plan that can be used by family members for sharing passwords, bank account info and other sensitive information. The plan is available for $48 yearly subscription.

LastPass Operations
The company provides their software to Personal and Business customers. To Personal customers, the company offers two plans named Premium and Families. The Families Plan includes features named as six premium licenses, group, and share items in folders and family manager dashboard. To Business customers, the company provides two plans named Teams and Enterprise. The Enterprise plans provide several features named as directory integration with IDP, group management, advanced reporting, cloud app provisioning, and 100+ security policies.
The PC Magazine awarded LastPass five stars excellent mark in March 2009. The company software version 4.0 also received an outstanding mark. The Steve Gibson also approves the company software on Security Now Podcast.
