Galleria Borghese Rome Overview
Galleria Borghese is an art museum that located in Villa Borghese, Rome, Italy. It was established in 1903 and includes a collection of paintings, sculpture, and antiquities which was started by Cardinal Scipione Borghese. He was the nephew of Pope Paul V. The architecture of this building was Flaminio Ponzio. The museum has a collection of an artist named as Caravaggio, Peter Paul Rubens, and Federico Barocci.
The museum tickets are available in Single Reservation and Groups. The museum ticket price varies from time to time. The visitor's ticket cannot be replaced. The visitors can take kids with them. The museum is free for disabled people from the European Union, Norway, Iceland, and Switzerland.

The museum is divided into two floors. The first floor is committed to classical antiquities which are from the 1st to 3rd century AD. The museum has a mosaic of gladiators founded in the estate of Torrenova. The second floor of the museum includes a salone which was design by Sicilian artist Mariano Rossi. There are several collections of artist Gian Lorenzo Bernini such as Goat Amalthea with Infant Jupiter and Faun, Aeneas, Anchises & Ascanius, Rape of Proserpine and Apollo and Daphne.

The museum provides several services to visitors named as Wardrobe, Guide Tours, Audio Guides, Bookshop and Bar Cafeteria. The Bar Cafeteria situated in the basement of the Museum. The cafe offers delicious tea selections, artisan pastries, and organic products. The visitors can use wardrobe for keeping their items such as bags, backpacks, stroller, umbrellas, selfie sticks and many more. The visitors cannot enter with outside food, drinks, and animals. The bookshop is also available in the reception area. Gelbart Spa controls the bookshop.
