Tm Unifi is a public internet service provider that offers VoIP, IPTV and internet access to business and residential customers via optical fiber in Malaysia.

The industry works under the ownership of TM Berhad giving job opportunities to around 20,000 employees.

The service was launched on 24th March 2010 after initiating an HSBB project costing RM 11.3 billion to go for laying the foundation base of infrastructure and services for next-generation and to compete with developed countries like Japan, Korea, and Singapore in high-speed broadband.

The project made its target to supply the service at 1.3 million premises by the end of 2012 ending the first phase of the project.

One should be of age 18 to apply.

Service will be activated only if the person who applied is present physically.

TM reserves the right to reject or decline the service.

Service will be provided to the customer for the duration of the minimum subscription period.

The service on expiry will be automatically renewed and charged on a monthly basis unless terminated.

Service will be applicable for the installation address within the selected area of HSBB and for the residential or home-based customer.

The above service has proved beneficial and now each and every Malaysian can be connected to the internet at affordable prices thus bringing in the web’s rich multimedia content to life and enjoying that boost in connectivity with broadband.

Talking about the landed property, the fiber used in Unifi will connect directly to your home.

This is known as Fibre to the Home (FTTH) and if the residence is in a high rise building, the fiber connects only to a specific part of the condominium building. In that case, Very Fast Digital Subscriber Line 2 (VDSL) will connect that part to a local individual apartment.

It is thus a better choice of service over Streamyx service and is faster internet service.

Aside from its better service, it has also faced criticism about its download cap and also for being much overpriced.

Even various value-added services are provided in the ongoing packages that put it on the top list of consumers. It is thus high in demand.

My name is Chow Hock Siang. My complaint number is 1-14435564761, on the month November 1st, 2016. I have made an appointment on 28/10/16 with TM point Kajang for the relocation, and after waiting and called the centre, the operator said that there are no arrangements or order. After checking with TM point Kajang again then only we know the planning department are not doing their work to find and confirm whether the 3 numbers of poles and 1 pole with second number of free port as stated in the report.

Therefore, after much waiting and calling Tm call centre since 28/11/16 till today 2/12/16, I am very disappointed because none of your, supervisor En. Akbar and En. Halim can give me an answer. A simple works yet have to drag for a week and with no answer. Arrangement to check and connection only take less then 1 hour and very hard to arrange. What the hell is this?
Please take action as soon as possible or shall I take necessary action to terminate this contract because of your poor action?

I made a complaint since March 2014 although 3rd week of February onward problem started. I sent many emails to Unifi and more before Hari Raya in 2014. Customer service agents did not bother to reply my emails sent just before Raya. I also called a few times but usually put on hold and then line gets cut. They never bother to call me back. I did my part to lodge complaints and I also said I am fed up. When customer complains, UniFi customer agents don't care.

Omg! Why is the so slow for the past few months. Sometimes OK but most of the time the line is bad. I have check with speed test it show Only 0.2 megabits. I m paying Rm 190+ for this kind of service. TM you have need to do something is getting bad to WORST! Or else bye bye i will change to Yes. I upgraded my Tm unifi as there's a lady called me from TM i only pay 179 per month because of the promotion, but it's not actually 179 per month I pay now, its 200+ The worst is, since I upgrade the speed limit it become too slow ,unlike before i only pay 150+ it is very fast, it's useless I upgraded my speed limit! I have try to contact your customer services few times via online chat but failed.
I have supported Unifi for so many years but every time I did not received any email for my outstanding balance statement.

Hi I am here to complaint about my monthly bill. I remember I has sign up for the rm140 package but I was really confuse how come every month I have to pay rm159 or sometimes rm162? It was just a failure to address this problem to your attention and my unifi router is just place few steps away from my living room to my master bedroom. Every time when I need to use internet in the room it needs to log in multiple time or sometime can't even be connected.

Installed 30MB pkg last month. Whenever watch HyppTv, all channels intermittently stop off and on. Reboot by switch off and on the HyppTv Box. Problem still persist.
Some neighbor nearby installed 5MB, do not have this problem. Appreciate to look into this problem.

I am sing the services of TM net for many years.Internet, Tv and land line.
On Sat 7th May at 10 am..the service failed. I notified TM via the 100 line and was given a Report No.
On 8th May I received a SMS reporting that action was being taken
On monday at 3.30 pm I was informed by En syami that the restoration was in progress
On the same day, I was informed by Che Dila that de to work over load, their vendor was not able to rectify the problem within 72 hrs .
On the following day after 96 hrs.wait.. The technicians arrived and rectified the problem by 12 noon.
I have been denied any communication for 96 hrs. Thus totally SLACK on the part of TM.
TM can do better than to provide service within minutes not claim that vendors are overworked and lack manpower
TM must implement 24 hrs service just like LLN, Fire services or even the Police.

This attitde and response is very disappinting

Payment made via PBB online, amounting $328.50 this morning but i contacted your officer again, was told that it needs 2 working days this time. I install my unifi cost $179 on 20.2.16 but on 23.2.16 my phone, TV, WiFi can't use. call TM answer I'd wait until 25,2,16 I call the technician who install my unifi he agreed come at night and found that my cable out port is pilling oiy from port and tm box is open. but now the same problem is happening my cable is pulling out from port only 10 days l have facing twice cable pulling out from port .can tm lock it.

I'm making an official complaint on the poor competency & rude customer technical service by the name on Farida (she refused to give full name) which i spoke to on 25th Feb 2015 @ 12.25 am. (Please check your voice recording).
I have been having faulty unify problem on 5th Feb 16 and a technician came the next day to fix it. After 10 days of using, I have been experiencing problem of slow & disconnected Internet. Today I had the same problem and called technical line which has gone through standard troubleshooting procedure After the final resetting on my end, the Internet was connected and then totally stop. I call again around 12.20 am & spoke to this inexperience & rude girl who said I must change my WiFi login username & password which is totally doesn't make sense.
I said NO & ask her to file my report and send technician the next day and at the same time to give me the report no.
She refused to do so by stating that technician don't work now and not sure when they are free and asked me to wait for SMS for report no.
I told her off and warn her of the poor attitud

It is impossible to talk to someone in Bills payment and Enq department..nobody answers the phone....Can someone call me back as I had been over-billed on my Feb 2016 statement and payment is expected on 22nd Feb.

My unifi number is 07 2309932...
Address is 99 Jln Indah 1/24, tmn bukit indah 81200 johor.

My unifi package is 5 Mbps but the speed dropped to terrible 0.20mbps or no network at all since last week!!!! Please solve this problem as soon as possible!!!!
This is unacceptable......

My Tel and internet are not working,2 days ago when I cycled the wall socket that supplies the modem or router,(i can't tell which is which but can tell you this unit has Tel 1&2,LAN 1 to 4),the power supply for the unit blasted open its cover,so I disconnected it from the socket.

Hi,

I am the unify existing user.

I've subscribe the auto payment via my credit card for the monthly billing. However my credit card has been replace and you no longer allow to deduct the payment from my existing card.

I would like to call the contact center to update my other credit card for payment purpose but unfortunately the contact number only with local number and I stay oversea.
I would like to check any other contact number that I can dial to liaise with the customer service and update my credit card payment.

I've been having problems with my connection the whole night, unable to connect to the internet. Called the service line but was put on hold for the longest time. This has been going on for the longest time I can remember and such bad connection is downright ridiculous!!! I am dealing with overseas accounts hence late night stable internet connection is crucial to me so all this nonsense of unstable connection is unacceptable!!! The past few years have been nothing but shitty unstable connection. By right, we should get compensation for the times we do not have stable connection as we are paying customers. Maybe its just high time to switch to another operator who does not cheat us of our hard earned money
