It was introduced in market in 2013 through m-commerce by Alan and David Tisch, Ara Katz and Octavian Costache having initial name Jello Labs that was later changed to Spring in July 2014. Their initial success brought them on Spring Street in SoHo, Manhattan with app launch in August, 2014. They put forth on sale the items from 250 brands that ultimately allowed them to raise $25 million in Series B round. In 2015, they decided to get on desktop version and launched out “personal shopping assistant” on Facebook’s bot store in 2016.
Now they are having items from over 1,300 brands for sale that includes Helmut Land, Coach and Marc Jacobs. Recently according to the report they managed to be in profit by raise of $65 million in Series C round.
