PSN fully abbreviated as PlayStation Network is a service provided for entertainment offered by the Sony Computer Entertainment. The service was launched on 11 November, 2006 & available on platform such as PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation Portable, Sony Xperia, Bravia HDTV & PlayStation Mobile. There are overall 110 million members of the PlayStation Network in which 65 million are active monthly. Through PlayStation Network, members can use services such as online gaming, movie streaming, music & television. The service can be used only with the PlayStation’s video game consoles, smartphones, HDTVs, Sony tablets & Blu-ray players. The service is available in more than 70 countries such as Spain, Serbia, India, Ireland, Russia, Turkey, United States, Brazil & many more.
Features
There are many different features offered by the PlayStation Network to their members such as instant messaging, block list, friend list, online gaming, Live from PlayStation, parental controls, portable ID, remote play, share play & trophy achievement system. Through
block list feature, members can bar other user from contact whereas share play feature helps members to invite an online friend to join the session of member’s session.
