National Car Rental History
The company was started in August 1947 by a team of independent rental car operators and the same year it expanded to around 60 locations in the United States. It reaches to more than 2000 international locations that include countries like United Arab Emirates, Canada, Mexico, and much more by 2005.
In order to expand themselves, the company has acquired many companies, such as Tilden Rent a Car, Republic Industries, ANC Rental. However, it was acquired by Enterprise Rent-A-Car in August 2007.
