The company is based in San Francisco, California and claims to offer 1 million rides in a day. As of 2016 records, the company generates revenue of US$ 700 million, whereas their net income was US$ 600 million in the same year. The main competitors of the corporation are Via, Haxi, Fasten, and Via. They have a global alliance with lots of companies that include Ola Cabs (India), DidiChuxing (China) and Grab Go-Jek (Southeast Asia). The company was launched by John Zimmer and Logan Green in 2012 when they started offering services for Zimride.

The users have to download the mobile app of the company on their Android or iOS phone for booking their services. After downloading, they have to sign up by entering a valid phone number and payment type, such as Google Wallet, credit card, PayPal account or similar type of method.

Asking for refund

Kimberly Peterkin says: I will like to file a complaint regarding the support team. I contacted Lyft on Monday because I would notice that it was a trip taking last year in September 2015. I just started using Lyft last month due to my foot being broken. I was walking with crutches and a hard cast. One of my friend was assisting me last year to open the account. I didn't realize that his email address was under my account. I edited and changed it to peterkinkimberly@yahoo.com. I haven't got one single receipt sent to my email compared to Uber. I didn't realize that it was under his email and under my name. I sent the request of invoice and let them know that I didn't take the trip. I contacted Bryan by calling and texting. He denied it. First, support wanted to refund my money on the card, which I asked them to credit the Lyft account. My account was closed since Tuesday.

Hi I am being charged for lyft without me even using it. This has to stop. Or I want to remove my self or card. If I am not requesting a ride I should not be getting charged someone get in contact with me immediately. Thank you.

My daughter Azin Mirzaagha used your service today at Berkeley starting at Bart in Berkeley and then dropped at 2700 Hearst Ave.
She left her phone inside the car.
Please let us know how we can pick it up?

Hi
I just had ride in lyft, the message i received before the ride told me that i got 5 free ride. And now they charge me the first one for $17 and the second one for $22. Can have someone to explain how that happen? Besides that i tried all the number posting in the web, and could not reach anybody to help me
