HUD
The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is an American agency who is involved in the operations related to building strong and quality houses for citizens in the country. The agency operates as the division of the United States federal government. The corporate headquarters of the agency is situated in Washington D.C., United States. As of 2014 records, the annual budget of the agency was US$ 32.5 billion.
It was established on 9 September, 1965 when the Department of Housing and Urban Development law was passed by the government. The agency has divided their operations into different divisions, named Community Planning and Development, Housing, Public & Indian Housing, Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity, Government National Mortgage Association, Policy Development & Research, Partnership for Advancing Technology in Housing and Healthy Homes & Lead Hazard Control.

The most popular programs offered by the agency is Multifamily Housing Service Coordinator, where they give low interest loans to the resident
owners or non-profit organizations who want to renovate a home. Furthermore, they have also make experiments to grant the incentives to the urban areas that are economically depressed. In addition to their headquarters, HUD operate branch offices in the different cities of the United States. Almost one-fifth of the total funds are spent by the agency on their programs. They are on the mission to make the house market more powerful.
