Guangzhou Metro Intro
The Guangzhou Metro is a well-known Chinese rapid transit system that owned by the city of Guangzhou in China. The daily ridership of the company stays around 7 million. This complete network controlled by the Guangzhou Metro Corporation. They were the country’s fourth metro system as its construction started on 28th June 1997. The fleet of the company consists of more than 440 trains that make them one of the biggest one in the country. When it comes to ridership, it is the fourth busiest metro system and covers more than 230 stations.
There are 13 lines included in the network that includes Line 1, Line 2, Line 5, Line 4, Line 3, Line 13, Line 7, Line 8, Line 6, Line 12, Zhejiang New Town APM, and Guangfo Line. The daily service of the company begins at 6 AM and often finished at 12 AM. The network has renovated multiple times since its construction ended for the first time.

Guangzhou Metro Ticket Types
There are three different types of tickets offered by the metro system about which we have explained in detail below:
• Single Journey TicketThis ticket can be bought from the automatic machine or kiosk that located on all the stations. It is one of the most commonly used tickets by the normal passengers.
• Yang Cheng Tong PassIt is a contactless smart card that works on the metro and all other public transport options in the city. There is a discount offered on the buses and metro to the riders who have a Yang Cheng Tong Pass. However, it was renamed to the Lingnan Pass in November 2010.
• Day PassThese passes are available in the one-day and three-day format. They can’t recharge in any manner.
