Trouble with carter lines

Got so confused tonight because right in the middle of my carter line it switched to my husband's line. We are both related to same Carters, but FTM does not indicate the relationship to both. I paid for Family Tree Maker Version 6 which is on my laptop and I also downloaded it on to my desktop which has since improved to Version 10. I now want to obtain the latest version. Will you please advise on how I can do this?

Have family tree maker platinum which I purchased sometimes early last year, 2015. My plan was to complete my husbands family history within one year as I received six months free with ancestry and subscribed to an additional six months. Then I find out ancestry no longer supports tree maker so what now. I wanted to provide someone with the needed information to create a book of sorts for me. How can that been done now?

I published a poster a couple of years ago on my Family Tree Maker to using the Ancestry link. There was a mistake i would like to correct and update. When i hit the “publish” button nothing opens. In fact, the top menu seems inactive. I have registered and downloaded all updates. Thanks.
