Batik air
Here we are talking about the airline that works for Indonesia. The airline was founded in March 2013 and was scheduled for its first flight from Jakarta to Manado.
The airline company is working under Lion Air Group serving for 26 destinations and is headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia.
How it got started and what they offer in service?
Its parent company Lion Air launched the air service by creating Batik Air as a full-service airline which runs their functional operations from May 2013 using Boeing 737-900ERs.
Batik Air works both on domestic and international services from bases in Jakarta and Manado.
Among services, the airline offers the in-flight entertainment system called as personal television on every seat. Also, they offer free meals and light snacks to their customers.
Talking about seat quality then for the economy class they have 32 inches and for the business class, they offer 45 inches. There is also free baggage allowance of 20 kg for economy class and for business, it is 30 kg.
Recently the news was there that Malindo airline was rebranded as Basic Air thus allowing the latter one to serve in 54 destinations operating up to 160 flights daily.
Even the network of Batic Air has been stretched from the western part of Indonesia on the city of Banda Aceh into the eastern part of Indonesia on the city of Merauke. Now with Lion Group networks, people can fly from Sabang to Merauke, Miangas to Talaud connecting people throughout the Indonesian Archipelago.

What’s new?
In September 2018, it was posted that Batic Air is set to launch a new route connecting Surabaya and Labuan Bajo with a return flight that will be going to operate on every day except Tuesdays and Sundays.
