AAAThe American Automobile Association is motor clubs federation throughout America also pronounced “AAA” - triple “A”. It is a no profit organisation of Automotive Services. Headquarters of American Automobile Association are in Heathrow, Florida, United States with name of 1000 AAA Drive. Products of AAA are maps, travel guides & car batteries. Services of American Automobile Association are Roadside Assistance, Auto Repair, Travelling, Motor Advice, Traffic safety and many others. American Automobile Association was established on 4th March, 1902.
Need of establishing American Automobile Association emerged due to non-suitable highways and roads for automobiles, total 9 motor clubs clubbed together and 1500 members of same bring American Automobile Association in existence. Presently it is having 55.6 million members which are automotive users of United States & Canada. Its members get the services like roadside assistance and others. American Automobile Association in 1904, merged with American Automobile Organisation-American Motor League. In 1905, AAA
published road maps, in 1917 started to print hotel guides also. In 1920 American Automobile Association started a driver’s safety program with motive of training students into patrol force; these were conducted with local schools. AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety was established in 1947. Under the brand name of AAA, another organisation came into existence with name of racing board, later called Contest Board, and used to award national racing championships from 1905 to 1955. History of American Automobile Association accounts very long, but always remains active in roadside assistance. Assistance services like towing, winching, lockouts, battery replacement, automotive first aid, tyre changes & many more are provided by American Automobile Association. International Affiliates of AAA are ARC Europe, Royal Dutch Touring Club and Canada Automobile Association.
