The company was started by Dr. YW Sing and Dr. Chi-Shin Wang as Integrated Information Technology in 1987. However, they changed their name in the early part of the 1990s. Since entering the market, the company has received 128 patents related to the computer architecture, semiconductors, communication technologies, and videophones.
