26 Federal Plaza
26 Federal Plaza is the site where Jacob K. Javits Federal Office Building is located in Manhattan, New York. It is the home of several Federal government agencies. With more than 41 stores, it is the tallest federal building in the entire USA. It takes almost six years to construct this building and it was named after Jacob K. Javits, former United States Senator. Presently, it is owned by the General Services Administration. As mentioned above, there are offices of many agencies in the building that include the Federal Bureau of Investigation New York City field office, Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services and General Services Administration. Moreover, there is James L. Watson Court of International Trade Building located in the east part of the major building.

The building was designed by the Alfred Easton Poor Kahn & Jacobs, whereas Eggers & Higgins works as their associates. The height of 26 Federal Plaza is 179 m and it has total 41 floors. Twenty third floor of the building is occupied by the Federal Bureau of Investigation New York field office. Some of the major artworks of this structure are the Manhattan Sentinels by Beverly Pepper and A Study in Five Planes/ Peace by Alexander Calder. There was a renovation of the building done between the period 1975 & 1977.
